Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations of which Elysian Capitol Hill is the main brewery and a full production brewery – Elysian Airport Way, in the Georgetown neighborhood (since 2011). Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. In 2015 Elysian joined AB InBevs' family of craft brands.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours black with a foamy tan head. Mild aroma of squash with a little bit of cinnamon accompaniment. Dark malt too. Med body or so. Flavor fairly matches aroma. Moderately bitter. Fairly dry. If there's hop, it seems earthy. Ok drink. Nice that it wasn't super spiced.

Tallboy can from Wine Cellar, De Pere,WI,4/4/19. If you don't assume I'm blastiing Def Leppard while drinking this, you don't know me well! I'm hot sticky sweet, from my head to my feet! Clear amber but with fine floating particles. Large frothy off-white head, good retention. Small floating particles. Oh can't you see? You've got the best of me. You're bringing on the heartbreak! Aroma of syrupy tropical fruit and citrus, crackery malt with some caramel. Taste is pine, resin, tropical fruit, dandelion, lime, caramel malt, tea. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. A bit past its prime but still awesome, just like the band. I got to feel it in my blood! Not the first Def Leppard themed beer I've tried... thanks Elysian and Three Notch'd!

Reçue en cadeau... Ça sent bon les aiguilles de conifères et les agrumes, ça goûte aussi bon. C'est juste un peu flat comme offrande. L'étiquette est sublime.

Bottle shared by Levi, thanks! Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sour light fruits and grass with a bit of earthy grain and straw underlying. Flavor has straw and earthy grains with a bit of sour fruits and a light mustiness.

Bottle thanks to Joe. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is caramel, cinnamon, booze. Slick body, strong spice, caramel, bready malt, boozy finish, good.

Bomber on 6th March 2019 while on holiday in California. Slight haze to the brown body, off-white head. Pumpkin (surprise, surprise) aroma and taste, fairly sweet actually. I am no expert on Pumpkins in general let alone Pumpkin Ales, but this seems fine to me. Bit one dimensional maybe, but certainly got Pumpkin flavours.
