Can from Beer Cats fukurobukuro. Pours nice creamy orange with quite a fluffy head - that is coming down after a few minutes, leaving also some lacings there. Nose is a bit soapy, soft, light grassy bitterness and malty base. Taste has medium level of bitterness, grassy and a bit herbal, creamy body, malt-forward overall. OK, reminds me Yona Yona - but in the old days when it was still good.

When I saw friends posting a Def Leppard beer I kind of wanted to try it as I remember slow dancing to Pour Some Sugar On Me at my first dance in the 6th grade~! Elysian Def Leppard Pale Ale 6% Can. Opaque mellow gold with a crazy dense head of foam that rose above the lip of the glass and left a ton of lacing around. The hop bouquet is big citrus while the malts provide a sweet backbone. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and semi-dry finish. The taste is bitter woodsy pine with a bit of pithy citrus and mild caramel and biscuit in the aftertaste/finish. It’s supposed to be a melding of British Ale and NW hops. I’d say the hops have the upper hand but can taste both so well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really interesting upfront citrus hop punch. Fruity and hop bitter side by side throughout.

Kinda just tastes like a pumpkin ale with a coffee back, still a bit thin. Will see how it settles

Bottle. Brown-black beer with a tan head.Light caramel and roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt with vegetal note flavor. Medium bodied. Roasted malt and light caramel linger with light vegetal notes.

Kroger bomber. Pours dark brown with a large brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, brown grass and leaf, light vegetation, some back end spice. Would not know this was a pumpkin beer other than the label. It's fine and drinkable, but completely unmemorable.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Fruit, grassy hops and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz attractive can, poured. Fresh hops are going into the season late this year, and I love it. Bright golden orange pour, mostly clean. Rocky foam head, and tons of sticky lacing. I'm actually really surprised there is no fruit added to this beer. It's so rich with pineapple, mango, and other orange fruit, it's hard to believe it's all the hops working in solitary. Really smooth flavor. A nice, fresh feel to this hop aroma. Really tasty. Hope this one sticks around.

Pours a clear golden amber with a thick white head. Resinous aroma of hops. Taste has pepper, intense hoppiness and dry fruit. Palate contains a wide variety of hops as well as pine resin.
