Draft @ brewery. Light creamy lactic malt aroma. Clear gold with a small white head. Creamy grainy malt flavor. Medium creamy body, light carbonation.

tap at JK’s - Pours black with a small light tan head. It has a pretty mild roast malt aroma. The flavor is of roasted chocolate malt with ample hops and the dry character of rye. It’s medium bodied at most and between the palate and the high hops, it tastes a lot like a black IPA to me. Interesting take on a porter though I think it could be better...

Bottle: Pours red-copper with a frothy, short, off-white head. Caramel, vanilla scent. Caramel, lightly bitter grassy hop taste..... A fairly nice, straightforward Marzen....natural. Only a minimal amount of peppery spice.... Simple and good.

Draft. Orange, prune malt, and alcohol aroma. Cloudy orange-brown with small head. Sweet prune malt, alcohol, and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Sweet and boozy.

Draft. Melon and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet watermelon and lightly salty wheat malt flavor. Light and refreshing.

Draft. Caramel malt and light hay aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet caramel malt flavor. Lightly bitter hay finish. Very nice.

Draft sample @ Back Road festival. Boozy raisin/date aroma. Cloudy brown with a small off-white head. Sweet boozy dark fruit and oak flavor with a light herbal bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. I tried to be fair, but this isn’t my favorite style.

tap at Dash In, listed as a Double Pale Ale - Pours a very hazy caramel color with a small lingering tan head. It smells fruity with caramel and alcohol. It’s heavily hopped with a good caramel malt backbone. Medium to full bodied with a long, bitter finish, it’s a good beer.

tap - This ale has a minimal head and a mild, rather indistinct malt aroma. The flavor is of lightly toasted malt, mild hops bitterness, and watermelon. The latter is apparent but subdued. It’s light to medium body and okay overall but I wouldn’t seek it out.
