Bought locally at Poplar Wine & Spirits.

It pours a clear reddish amber with a 1 finger head of foam. There's some good lacing and the head retention is good.

The smell is big on the berries that kind of remind me of a Lindemans. I like fruit beers so the nose is impressive to me.

The taste is nice. Big flavour of raspberry and a good note of blackberry with some honey and overall, it's quite sweet but it suits my palate nicely.

Good medium to medium thick mouthfeel for the most part but it does border on syrupy near the finish.

This is a good fruit beer that, imo, doesn't have a whole lot of complexity going on but I don't look for that in every beer I try. It's simple, and it's good.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 1/9/2018. Pours very hazy golden yellow/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lightly tart pomegranate, berry, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pomegranate, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart pomegranate, berry, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal bitterness fruit tartness, and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart pomegranate, berry, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread, honey. herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pomegranate, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitter/tart/tangy balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a delicious shandy. All around nice robustness and balance of pomegranate, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV, never watery feeling. Great balance between fruit and pale wheat ale flavors. One of the best in their series of shandies I've had yet. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Pours a reddish hued amber from a bottle. Big pomegranate aroma, almost too juicy and pomegranate flavored. Sweet and tart. Okay beer.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet lemon, berry and yeast. The flavor was very sweet with sugar, berry, lemon and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Tasty.

Pours crystal clear medium orange/amber/light copper color with a 1 finger dense and rocky cream colored head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big cracker, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is a delicious Vienna lager! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely rich Vienna malt flavors with nice hop flavor balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Pours from 12oz bottle(BB05/28/07) a cloudy yellow orange with a smallish head of foam that looks to fade away completely but never does. It also has some fine lacing.

The smell is very strongly of lemon with just a touch of wheat noticeable.

The taste is very refreshing...there's lots of lemon with some wheat and, for me, even some orange tones that appear right before the finish which starts out on the bitter side but ends up being dry and crisp. Good stuff.

Bottom line: A nice refreshing example of the style that should help with the summer time heat. I like it.

Kroger bottle. Hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, light fruit (or vegetation I suppose), nutmeg. Flavor is very plain mixture of the three spices listed above. Tastes a bit like a gingerbread cookie without the sweetness. This isn't sweet, by the war, but it's not bitter. I suppose this is one of their better shandies, though it's not great.
