12 oz can from the winter variety pack. I have three new Leinenkugel’s shandies available right now and I can barely contain my excitement. Aroma is packed with ginger and lemon, some light cheese. Pours cloudy orange-yellow with a thick white head with decent retention. Tastes like ginger ale, lemonade and a bland American wheat ale base, which is what it is, I guess. The ginger provides some mild heat I realize the longer I drink it. Simple beer/soft drink mashup that is exactly what it claims to be, nothing more. It doesn’t taste bad, and it’s good for simple refreshment, but it’s nothing I would ever pay full price for or ever seek out again after this rating. 100 times better than the foul Cranberry Ginger edition included in this pack, by the way.

Bottle. Biscuit malt and orange-grapefruit malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange toffee and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Decent body.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 4/11/2016. Pours crystal clear deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Great dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Incredible appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately stickyresious, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPL style! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Can, not a shandy. I drank it right out of the can so I didn’t see it but I assume its clear yellow & all other numbers are valid, thank you cousin burgher. Taste is a little spicy but maybe it is spicey. Pear almost undetectable. Not quite sure if this shandy territory, its more like a wheat ale. Was worried about drinken this for the sugar, but its more like a regular wheat ale.

Can. Slightly muddy color. Yes, initial choco with raspberries then its backed up with lemon shandy. Odd combination and therefore quite unique. Probably one of the better real chocolate tasting beers I’ve had. Somewhat fun and friendly but goes a little medicinal towards the end. Yes, the finish is fer sure a little choco tootsie roll in lemon with a hair of raspberry.

Bottle. A- Pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, cool whip. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Pumpkin, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, cinnamon. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- All be damned. This shouldn’t be a good beer but it’s actually a pretty great one. Very much pumpkin pie like. The spice is not overwhelming and includes a variety of spices and the pumpkin isn’t fake tasting. Very good actually. Appearance isn’t too great but an otherwise very tasty pumpkin beer.

Hazy orange pour, head of foam good with the nitro mix.
Lightish smell of ginger and cranberries.
Cranberry and ginger taste brings sweet and tart notes. Good mouthfeel and very easy drinking. I am enjoying it.

12 oz bottle. Expired about a month ago. Aroma is light oak, generic beer, caramel malt. Pours slightly hazy new penny copper with a medium beige head that falls after a minute, leaving some lace. Taste is an improvement on the aroma, with the oak bringing out some nice vanilla notes. It’s a little boozy. The generic beer flavor comes through, which is a bummer, but this is pretty cool and out there for style, and for the brewery, as well. Edit: the aroma opens up after sitting for awhile with the oak coming through much more strongly; I upped my aroma a point.

Fantastic orange, ginger, pine, bubble gum nose. Hazy amber, medium yellowish head. Cranberry and ginger turning to strong wheat malt and bubble gum. Medium body, easy carbonation. This is actually good, really, really good. It may not be "cool" to say so, but Leinenkugel’s makes some really neat beers. This is one of them.
