Bottled 500ml (Maxima, Vilnius, BB 11/2011)
Chestnut brown color, small brownish head. Green apples, caramel aroma. Light bodied. Light caramel, some maltyness, fizzy carbonation. Feels more like a lager than an ale.

Bottled 500ml (ABV 4.6%, Maxima, Vilnius, BB 09/2011)
Clear golden color, small white head. Light grassy and maize aroma. Light to medium bodied. Sweet malty, almost sweetcorn sweet flavor. Light grassy bitterness in the aftertaste. Clean, but not much a pils, but just an ordinary pale lager.

A very cool bottle, actually all the bottle from the brewery Kalnapilis look good. I had almost written it an international camp, as the proportion of honey in this beer is rather low. Fortunately for those who want to drink any sweet beers. So quite drinkable!

Warning! Early amateur rating! Moderate carbonation. Somewhat unusual taste - very malty - almost like toasted malts had been used but it’s a normal Lager colour! Not bitter. Goes down easy enough.

50cl bottle bought on Mill Road in Cambridge. Straw with a rapidly fading white head; the aroma has lots of sweet honey; the honey isn’t as pronounced in the mouth, but it is definitely there, along with some grains; it’s rather dry over all, and the finish is light and elegant with some biscuit as well as the honey. A refined and drinkable honey beer.

50cl bottle bought in Cambridge. Straw with a loose white head, heavy carbonation; tired grassy Saaz hop aroma; refreshing taste with a touch of limey citrus; but a thin watery finish. Better than the average eastern European lager.
