Bottled. An orange beer with a thick bubbly white head. The aroma is malty with strong notes of alcohol and some metallic notes - is it from the alcohol or the hops? The flavor is sweet malty and again dominated by alcohol and again with the metallic note, leading to a dry metallic end.

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor dry hoppy.

2004 bottle. INTERESTING ONE HERE. Noting the style, I did not find this one to appear that appealing. Just your regular, yellow-gold, with maybe a faint touch of light amber. Decent foamy white head, but I’ve seen much better rosy/peach coloring, and this one is filtered to make matters worse. Aroma is sharp, lightly metallic and hoppy, with a hint of strong grainy pils malt or just plain two row. Flavor was not nearly as bad as I expected and while cold, this one was refreshing, drinkable and quite good. Flavor is not complex, but has hints of sweet malt, light grainy sharpness, and some lingering sweetness. Body is medium to medium light, with a moderately carbonated, zesty feel. As it warms though, I detected some bitter/sharp alcoholic tones, the beer finished very harsh and with a poor, highly sharp alcoholic flavor. Overall it was decent, somewhere around average, but it just can’t even begin to compete with summer of lager or wolnzacher hell.

Bottled. Golden colour, clear, small head. Sweet and lightly fruity with some vegatbles and short dusty finish. Boring.

Golden colour. Quite pear-like in the aroma - like a can of pears, not a bottle of beer. Light body, watery palate with vague malt and hop notes, but nothing specific enough to identify itself as a malt or a hop.

Golden colour. Thin head. Slightly grassy aroma. Hint of apple. A little bit toasty. The underlying alcohol is a little bit strong, but not too much so. A little tart as well, and unclean in the finish.

Pale straw colour with a light sparkle. Grassy-grainy aroma. Palate is balanced - grassy hop, hint of berry notes, prickly crisp finish. OK beer for the "almost pilsner" style.

Dull golden colour. Malty character that is slightly sticky (corn syrupy - though that usually ferments out so I’m not suggesting that they actually use it). Finishes mostly with alcohol, which given the strength is no surprise.

Bottled. Pale golden, not much head. Lightly bready with rounded mouthfeel. A bit sweet and fairly light bodied. Somewhat fruity with low-medium bitterness.

Can. A light golden beer with a thick fluffy white head. The aroma is brewing cereal sour with light notes of malt and some alcohol. The flavor is sweet with a very light malt accent, but much stronger notes of alcohol giving it a metallic tinge, combined with light notes of brewing cereal and straw. The alcohol dries out the mouth in the end.
