Pinkish red body, thin pink-white head. Aroma sour, cherry, horse blanket. Sharp, sour body with a big bite. Grassy, tart, cherry. Dry on the whole, mostly dusty-grassy. Nice.

Translucent orange-red-brown body, medium cream head. Nose biscuit, toast, grain, and nutty/floral sweetness. Body a nice blend of nutty, caramely notes, bread, grain husks, and, of all things, candy cigarettes. It doesn't stand out in any way, but I'd drink this regularly.

Very slightly hazy straw body, medium cream head leaving nice lacing. Nose light, biscuity, cerealy, and grassy-spicy. Flavor mostly lightly toasted, nutty grain, balanced by modest grassy-herbal hops. A clean and pleasant session beer.

Draft as Bavarian Marzen, 4.9% ABV. Clear amber body, medium clumping cream head. Aroma light, caramel, brown sugar. Body bready and doughy, with only modest sweetness, the emphasis instead on layered breadiness. Quite a departure from their Austrian Marzen and poised for side-by-side tastings.

Clear amber body, medium dense cream head. Aroma horse blanket, Brie cheese, vinaigrette, and oak; dusty and dry. Body rather dry with funky sulfuric vinaigrette notes; pungent and tart but not particularly sour. A nice staple.

Clear deep straw body, medium dense marshmallowy off-white to cream head. Aroma biscuity and floral with hints of lemon. Body crisp, nicely balanced among cereal, spicy floral notes, and a touch of caramel. Robust, full-flavored, with no off-notes. A sharp rendition, one of my favorites at Silver Spruce.
