Interesting nose, ripe tropical fruits, herbal candy, honey notes in the background. Light body, high carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, fizzy, prickly, too prickly perhaps. Slightly on the watery side. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of caramel malt, herbal candy, honey. Ripe tropical fruits, mild spice. Grassy. Light stickiness. Medium lasting finish, lingering herbal bitterness. Interesting.

Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation, fizzy. Average mouthfeel and texture, fizzy, prickly, lightweight. Balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of grains, herbs, grass and spice. Tropical notes, citrus peel. Malty backbone, caramel, bready touches. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness, light spice. Pretty good.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy golden pour, half finger soapy white head, medium retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Weird and.... funky om the nose. Bready, yeasty, fermented fruits, apple candy. Light body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, fizzy, prickly, light stickiness. Bittersweet taste. Aroma follows the nose, yeasty, bready, fermented apples. Candt notes, grainy and herbal background. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness, spice. Interesting.

Bottle, 0.5l. Murky :) brown pour, three finger frothy beige head, medium retention. Minimal lacing. Lots of yeast floating around the glass. Nice on the nose, strong roasted coffee notes, light smoke, ashy. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Soft mouthfeel and texture, smooth and chewy, goes down quite nicely. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of roasted malt, toasted caramel, coffee, dark chocolate. Nutty and bready notes, very mild fruity hints in the background. Medium lasting finish, dry, roasty, lingering bitterness. Pretty good coffee driven porter.

On tap at Valhalla Viking Metal Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is bready, malty, a bit fruity, not entirely clean. Medium body, sweetness, moderate to high carbonation, bready profile. More like a Helles, a bit sweet. Low hop profile.

Boca 0,5L - popijeno par komada prije recenzije tako da nema smisla navoditi gdje sam ga kupio - moram priznati da mi na prvu nije sjeo ali kako ga više pijem sve mi je bolji i bolji...pitak je, za Pale ale i više nego dovoljno arome, nije preskup i dostupan mi je direkt iz pivovare...jedina zamjerka je na nešto čudniji aftertaste ali....

Aroma is hints of tropical hops, some ripe fruit, some cardboard, malts, biscuit, citrus. Thin, moderate carbonation, would be refreshing if it was fresher. Flavour is fruity, candy, tropical, citrus, spicy, malty. Moderate bitterness.

On tap at X Zagreb. Unclear darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild perfumed flowery nose. Flowery hoppy, light herbal, mild citrusy and fruity with moderate strong bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Tap at Fakin on Wednesday. Last beer of the trip. Hazy golden body, white head - pretty lasting. Citric, flowery, perfumey aroma, some Riwaka wild herbs show up too, quite nicely. Those wild herbs show up on the soft body as well, but so do flowery notes, citric as well, other fruits come up too. Light soft grainy touches, ending lightly bitterish. The most serious beer either of these breweries have made for the first ever Slavonian collab - for me, a genuinely nice modern Session IPA.
