Can thanks to Drake! Hazy reddish brown with floaties and an inch of beige head. Nose is pine, pencil shavings, resin, light citrus. Pine, citrus peel, red fruit, caramel, resin. Good.

Can, many thanks to Drake! Clear copper with an inch of beige head. Nose is caramel, green leaf. Caramel, brown leaf, green leaf, toasted malt. Nice and crisp.

Keg at the brewery, 4.24.22. Clear gold large creamy tan head fair retention. Aroma of corn, pale malt. Taste is pale malt, corn, lime. Crisp, thin. They say no corn in this. Sure seems like it.

Cask at the brewery, 4/1/22. Hazy orange, medium creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of rye, lemon, dank. Taste is strong rye with green pepper. Lingering bitterness. The rye is strong in this one.

Half liter bottle from McF’s, 3/27/22. Special release for yesterday’s Stout Day. Very fancy double wax! Very dark brown, thin fizzy brown head, poor retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, strawberry, vanilla. Taste is roast, chocolate, tart berry, booze. Bit thin for the style, warming. Tasty. Nice beer.

Bomber from Niemuth’s, 3/3/22. Bottled December 2020. Dark brown-red, thin fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, mint. Taste is chocolate, roast, nuts, caramel, vanilla. Slick, full bodied, chewy. Very nice.

Half liter bottle from the brewery, 3/2/22, a day before sale to the general public! #pubclub. Near black, thin fizzy dark brown head, poor retention. Aroma of vanilla, oak, booze, roast. Taste is chocolate, booze, oak, mild vanilla. Hot. Decent but not as good as others in the series.

Capped 22 ounce bottle from Niemuth’s. Bottled Dec 2020, meant to be aged. 3/1/22. Hazy amber, thin fizzy off-white head, okay retention. Aroma of whiskey, oak, stone fruit, vanilla, raisin. Taste is toffee, caramel, vanilla, cherry, whiskey. Some buttery oak. Hint of bitterness. Well balanced.

Half liter bottle from the brewery, 2/27/22. Black, thin brown head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, booze, coffee, bit of caramel. Taste is sweet malt, roast, chocolate, smoke, booze. Full bodied. Booze present but not too bad. Nice overall.
