Keg at the brewery, 2/23/22. Murky orange, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma of orange, vanilla, mild hop. Taste is strong orange, vanilla, melon. Juicy, low bitterness. Decent.

Bottle from the brewery, 2/18/22 (barely). Black, not much of a head. Aroma of coffee, roast, booze, leather, caramel. Taste is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, caramel, hint of salt. Some booze, but not bad. A bit thin. Very tasty. Nice beer.

12 ounce can from the brewery, 1/7/22. PAR = Pour another round. Which I am. This is the second beer from the 6 pack. Clear amber thin frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, caramel, green notes, hint of stone fruit and burnt malt. Taste is caramel, raisin, herbal hop. Crisp, well balanced.

Waxed half liter bottle from the brewery, 1/5/22. Black, thin dense brown head, good retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak, coffee. Taste is roast, coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, bourbon. Booze hidden well. Bit thin. Very very tasty.

Overall this is a pretty decent, serviceable traditional bock. Malt is slightly on the sweet side but not overly so, hint of toast and decent body. Finish follows flavors. Straightforward bock beer.

Cask at the brewery, 12/25/21. Dark brown medium creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of roast, mint, smoke. Taste is roast, mint, dark chocolate. Bit thin. Well balanced. Nice.

Half liter wazed & capped bottle from the brewery, 12/16/21. Black, thin frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of whiskey, vanilla, oak, booze, chocolate. Taste is oak, roast, chocolate, vanilla, whiskey, smoke. Full bodied, chewy. A little young and hot, can use some aging. Very nice.

Keg at the brewery, 11/19/21. McFleshman's #99. Hazy brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of wheat, banana, chocolate, spice. Taste is banana, stone fruit, wheat. Crisp and full bodied. Nice.

Keg at the brewery, 11/16/21. Clear amber, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, cherry, caramel. Taste is Noble hop, caramel, toffee, cherry. Slick, well balanced, lingering. Very sweet but assertive hoppiness balances it nicely. Nice beer.
