ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark dark black - red brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dark mat, dark fruit - dried fruit, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, dark malt, malt bittter, mocha beans. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230211]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted tones with some sweet dried fruity tones. Flavour is dried fruity tones, mild alcohol and some coffee and black chocolate.

Bottle 25 cl. Thick, black, syrupy brw with a neat, brown head that lasts surprisingly loger than in the straight version. Roasty nose with distinct, sweetish vanilla accents. Rich sweet body, roast and massive vanlla accents - feels sweeter than it is. You really have to dig vanilla to like this. 070223

Bottle 25 cl. Pours thick and syrupy, opaque black with a tiny, brown head. Rich molasses and tar in the nose. Solid, fat body. Molasses, English licorice and sweet roast with hardly any carbonation. Plenty of bittering hops to balance things out somewhat. A huge beer indeed. 070223

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Pitch black, minimal head. Tarry licorice aroma. Sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Salmiak and tar, salty licorice on treacle and burnt black malt. Salty very bitter finish with peppery heat.
