(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful clear amber with a neat, dissipating off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt. Medium body, lightly sweet accents of caramel malt. Very clean palate. In style very close to a Danish "Classic". 090706

Bottled. Very dark brown, with a beige head. It looks clear. Coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Boring. Coffee, roasted malt, some bitterness and sweetness in the flavor. Medium body and a dry finish. Decent, but nothing more. (060604)

Bottle. Ruby red colour with beige head. Aroma is malty and a bit roasted. Light hoppyness also there. Flavour is roasted malts, with some hoppy and caramellish hints.

[Bottled] (BB 07/2006). Clear dark ruby color, firm creamy tan head. Metallic, caramelly aroma. Metallic, roasted malty, some late bitterness. Quite basic but drinkable Schwarzbier, a bit too light for being really good.

Dark brown color; huge head. The aroma is quite sweet with light caramel and milk chocolate, cereals, very light vanilla; almost perfumy; very strange. Medium body strength, with some malt, burnt sugar and caramel, roasted bitter almonds. The final has too much roasted bitterness for me.

Bottle. Weak liquorice and metal aroma. Almost black colour, red shine. Small head. Flavour starts off OK with some roastedness, but turns into carbonated water for a second before ending quite bitter. Nice enough for the style.
