(Can 32 cl) Very dark, but not completely black as you do sense a warm, reddish glow. Handsome and creamy beige head leaving some laces as it dissipates. Roasted aroma. Very full body with plenty of burned notes and an almost vinous acidity to it. Bitter finish mainly from the malts I reckon. Thanks to madsberg for this. 270206

Can, brewed by Guinness Anchor Malaysia
Dark honey golden color, small white head. Aroma of apple peels, cider, malts and alcohol. Light to medium bodied. Quite weak palate. Alcohol comes in later with warming effect. Papery malty, clean but inspiring strong lager. Re-rated Indian version, Asian Pacific Brewery Mahatrast, alc. 7.5% Similar to rating from Malaysian can. Golden color, white head. Apple-fruity and grainy aroma. Taste is similar: apple, petrol, alcohol. Same numbers than in Malaysian version.

(Can 33 cl) Pours opaque black with a delicate, creamy, light brown head. Malty, roasted nose. Medium body with distinct accents of hard roasted malt - bordering burned. Extremely dry finish with a light touch of sourness. Fairly decent Stout. Thanks to madsberg for this. 250206

Opaque black, big tanned head. Roasted cold coffee and some skunky hops in the nose. Medium-bodied. Roasted, quite bitter taste. Palate does not quite carry till the end. Middle of the road stout, very popular in Singapore.

Bottled. Pale golden and white head. Light malty aroma. Light malty aroma with some fruityness. Quite fizzy mouthfeel and a rather dry finish. Time for a Tiger? Not for me, it’s too boring. Rating: 3-2-4-3-8-2.0. 051231

Bottle. It’s a clear, almost golden beer topped by a small, white head. Neutral aroma with pale malts and a fruityness reminiscent of yellow apples. There’s some hints of bitterness in the flavor, as well as fruityness and pale malts. Some bitterness in the finish too. Medium body. Sure, a decent beer, but uninteresting as hell. 091223

Tiger Beer Lager-Hainan Asia Pacific Brewery-355ml can-pours a foamy white head with yellow color. Aroma is grain. Taste is grain, good carbonation. A bit better than the standards for this region. Dated 10/_/05.

Bottle. Pale golden colour. Small white head. Grassy aroma. Watery, some hints of citrus flavor and a little grassy. Some weak hints of hops too. Not a beer I like.

Bottle. Light in color. Small head that disappears almost as fast as you have put the bottle aside. Nice carbonation. Easy drinkable. Not very hoppy. A beer with a "girlish" appeal.
