On tap at Boardwalk, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, a touch of dry cocoa and earthy malt. Flavour is somewhat herbaceous, with a strange herbal grassiness to it but it's otherwise okay — there's toasted malt, a little roast, and some nuttiness. A little too herbal but not bad.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8

On tap at Boardwalk, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat oily, with hop resins, a little pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with lots of melon, light stone fruits, piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Really like melon-y character here. Vibrant, assertive and really well-balanced. Excellent.

6.5
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6

On tap at Boardwalk, pours a mostly clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy, piney hops upfront, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is rather dirty, with earthy hops, a touch of pine, and crusty bready malt. A little crunchy and earthy; the balance or maybe the hops seems a touch off. Not terrible but it needs some better dialling in.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

On tap at Boardwalk, pours a clear pinkish peach colour with a small white head. Aroma is laid back, bringing out subtle pomegranate and a touch of lacto. Flavour is vibrant and bright, with a nice tart pomegranate character and not too much yogurty character. Bright, fruity, simple, clean. It's a fruited kettle sour, but done reasonably well.

6.4
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

On tap at Boardwalk, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Nose brings plenty of lacto, a little citrus and straw. Flavour is yogurty, with the lacto coming out upfront, gently tart citrus, and straw. Low tartness, very dry, quite yogurty on the mouthfeel. Decently made but unsophisticated.

Draught at the brewery
Pale blond colour, slight haze. Light and lean, but more malt than expected, i.e. the right amount, with some residual sweetness, and balanced bitterness. Clean.
This is better than the average light American lager

Draught at the brewery; 5.2% ABV and 46 IBU now
Golden colour. Light fruit in the aroma. Good body, thanks to the light residual sweetness, but balanced by the bold bitterness, delicate bready malts, and some grassy/piney hop character. Bold, interesting.
