On tap at the La Grande brewery/taproom Clear deep copper pour with scant wispy off white head and web like lacing. Soft toasted woody sweetness in the malts. A touch of bitterness nicely complimentary. Softly carbonated lending a bit of a cask feel. Quite good.

On tap at the La Grande brewery/taproom Deep dark chocolate black pour. Thin tan skin of bubbles. Modest dark roast aromas and flavors. Fair bit of soft piney bitterness and a little dark chocolate and coffee.

16oz can from Side A. Near black pour with a slowly fading one finger beige head. Bitter, roasty aroma, dark chocolate. Taste starts with the roasty bitterness, with some mild sweetness falling in immediately behind. Notes of chocolate and coffee.

16oz can from Side A. Dark, clear golden pour, fizzy head. Bready, malty aroma. Taste is light, crackers, malty. Kind of a sticky feel and a medium weight to it . Heavier than your average pale lager.

Taster flight at Side A. Clear golden pour, thin white foamy head. Grainy aroma with a touch of rye spiciness. Taste is a full on bready feel with some flavorful notes from the rye. Nice feel too.

Draft at Side A. Hazy golden pour with a small layer of white foam. Citrusy aroma, light grapefruit peel. taste also features a nice, light juicy vibe, grapefruit prominent. Nice easy drinker.
