This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden orange to amber to bronzed yellow color. A one finger white foamy head rose and fell adequately showing a nice show of rings going down.
The smell had a sweet bittersweet citrus to spicy blend of piney hops.
The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to combine bittersweet and allow a light caramel underneath. There was no aftertaste but a dry citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for me and for the style as it displayed the right amount of sharpness for an AIPA.
Overall, I say this was a well done AIPA that I would have again.

This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer.
The smell had a nice sharp spiciness to it.
The taste followed the nose and left the same sort of spicy hops on the aftertaste. A semi-dry finish accompanies the aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there as it seemed sharp for an APA but nothing overbearing.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good APA. Recommend!

Tulip draft at the brew pub in Spokane, Washington. The pour is hazed orange yellow with a small white head. 5.7. The aroma is huge floral, jasmine and maybe some ginger lemon grass. The taste is more traditional Saison notes, with wheat grain along with the floral lemon grass of the nose. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a lingering yeast spice in finish.
