Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear very dark brown without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, chocolate, oxidated and bourbon. Flavor is extremely sweet. Extremely sweet finish with heavy alcohol. Boozy. Oily and soft. 050621

Bottle @Last Højbjerg Tasting in Højbjerg. Oily, dark brown. No head really. Heavy malty, caramely aroma, wood, nutty notes and a little dried fruit. Heavy sweet and bitter flavour, rich malty with some dried fruit and solid alc warmth. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Ok balanced, not bad.

33 cl bottle split by 4 . Pours nearly black. Smell is soysauce. intense, sharp, grainy. Taste is full, low (very low) carbo. Intense booze, worked in quite well actually. Notes of chocolate, bit age shows ( 9 years old, still 4 years to go on the BBD )

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to MADMitch! Pours unclear black-brown, no head. Holds notes of scorched honey, harsh alcohol, toffee, ash. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with minimal carbonation. Harsh alcohol warmth in the finish. Novel at best.

Schorsch Rubin (Edition 2019), Fläschchen per Post von BierPost.com. - Dieses Bier eignet sich hervorragend für eine lange Reifung im Bierkeller, verkündet das Etikett. Leider besitze ich keinen Bierkeller, bin daher auf zügigen Verbrauch angewiesen. - Trübes Rotbraun, lockerer Schaum. - In der Nase sattes toastiges Malz von anspringender, fetter Süße, Rübensirup, Rosinen, Aprikosenmarmelade, herbe Frucht. - Antrunk fett toastmalzig mit zäh klebriger, herb marmeladiger Süße, Zuckerrübensirup, fauligem Obst und dumpfer Herbe. Stark rezent, mastig, nur leidlich kaschierter Alkohol. Noch im Abgang sirupartig bittersüß mit matter Hopfenherbe. - Unfertig-eindimensionales, klebrig malzsüßes Zeug. A thick malty sweet beer. Really heavy on the sweet liquorice and figs and dry fruit sweetness to make up for the abv. good beer, but not worth the 6 EUR. D&S Dresden
Nearly black and opaque color with a huge off-white head. Nose is seeet, molasse with sugar, boozy, medicine-like. Taste is malty, sweet, strong molasse finish. Over the top.
