Mit den Schorschbräu-Starkbieren führen wir einen Trend weiter, der sich Weltweit unter Bierkennern durchsetzt. Sehr Starke und handwerklich gebraute Biere mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Charakter sprechen den Genießer an, weit weg vom üblichen Einheitsbier.
Schorschbräu-Biere sind ganz klassisch nach dem Deutschen Reinheitsgebot gebraut. Durch spezielle Bierhefen, viel Malz und mindestens 4 Monate Lagerung erreichen wir sehr hohe Alkoholgehalte. Dadurch sind Kohlensäuregehalt und Schaumhaltbarkeit eher gering, das Aromaprofil aber sehr interessant und die Biere sehr dunkel.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him, Max and Miro B. Dark brown, beige head. Malty, caramel, dark fruit, sweet, bit tart. Smooth. Full bodied.

Murky, muddy red ale with very quickly disippating head. Very present nose, with immediate sweet berry aromas, strawberry jam almost. Sweet malt and berry bomb in the mouth and a warning glow of alcohol and spreading warmth down the throat. Balanced with a good hop bitterness. A beer for sipping. Good!

Clear dense brown. Aroma is dreid figs some boozy spiky alcohol some oat and sugars deep malt. Taste is harsh alcoholic with intense sweet and oat base. Finish of more wood and nuts. Intense but still not distilled. Sick!

Bottle at the Xmas Ratebeer tasting, Garching with the München RateBeer Tasting Group Tuesday 10th December 2019. The fumes from this literally makes your nose hair curl. Woah this is a complete beast absolutely rocket fuel, there is a little sweetness, it's got some extremely boozy dark sugars. Not my thing.

Bottle. Brownish-amber color, almost without foam. Aroma: dried fruits, bread crust, parmesan, caramel, dried plum, schnapps, very malt, liquor. Sweet taste, caramel, blue plum, dried fruit bread, schnapps, jam, powerful, very warming.
