On tap at The Tap (Yakima), pours a clear golden with a off-white beige head. Aroma is a bit sweaty in the hop department, with a touch of pine and bready malt. Flavour is a little better, but still retains some that sweatiness; there's a touch of pine and a bready finish. Not a big fan of the hop expression. Too much sweat sock character.

Draft pour at The Tap, Yakima. Mostly clean golden pour. Rocky foam head. Layered hops with pine, citrus peel, and tropical notes. Agressive hop bill. A little harsh on this borderline imperial. Resinous finish. A little hot late. Intense but flavorful. Not bad.

Draft at brewery. Cloudy amber pour, small bubbly ring of head. Aroma is malty, with notes similar to rye. Taste recalled roggenbier, and rye bread. Light on the palate with a sessionable ABV. Really nice!

Draft at brewery. Amber pour, a little cloudy, small foamy head. Aroma presents some traditonal hops, light caramel malts. Taste doesn't deviate from this formula. Pretty straight forward IPA

On tap at The Local in Bellingham, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt upfront, with a slight spicy bitter astringency. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt dominating. Nicely constructed, though fairly unremarkable. Solid.

Draught at Hops ’n Headz, Bellingham, WA, as Burwood Schwarzbier
Black color with beige head. Aroma and flavor are mildly reminiscent of swap water, some dark malt, bit no real depth, or roastiness. Midway between Stout and Mild.
Didn’t nail the style. Not too bad, but for me not really pleasant.

Draught at The Local, Bellingham, WA
Cloudy dark amber color with compact head. It has some dark malt and some spice character, but stale swamp water dominates.
Not very pleasant.
