Tap. Dark ruby color with thick off-white head. Nice black berry aroma. Taste, fermented black berries, jam, wood, light sourness in finish. Alcohol. Not very drinkable, bit old, Gerlachov like old fruit wine.

Plastic bottle from MisoW, thanks! Amber color. Malty caramelly, slightly buttery aroma and flavor. Bready, almost full bodied. Hint of cacao. Just a bit sweetish. Tasty. Diacetyl is within acceptable limits.

Plastic bottle, thanks MisoW! Dark brown color. Red berries, butter and toffee in the aroma. Chocolate, caramel, bitter walnuts and butter in the flavor. Tasty, but spoiled by the diacetyl.

Swing top bottle from MisoW, thanks! Amber color. Just hints of smoke and pear drups in the aroma. Sour flavor with red berries. I can’t really tasty any smoke. Infected, but still drinkable. In my opinion not a rauchbier.

Swing top bottle from MisoW, thanks! Golden color. malty vinous aroma. Malty floral hopbitter flavor with a hint of upcoming sourness. I could swear it has some brett. Dirty but interesting.

On tap at Staromeštianska Pours gold with off-white head. Some citruses on a nose. Low bitterness, some hops, maybe a little of grapes. Ok though for Kastelan

From tap as “Kastelán Summer IPA 11˚” @ Beer & Burger Fest 2019 in Bratislava (visited 28. 6.). F: big, bit tan, long lasting. C: coppery, hazy, opaque. A: bit sour fruity, caramel, bit diacetyl, herbal, oxidized. T: malty, orange, caramel, bit oxidized, vaguely fruity, harsh bitterness, not good, not enjoyed.

Tap. Amber color with medium beige head. DMS, oxidation, light hops in aroma. Taste, caramel, malt, harsh citrus hops. Bad.
