Taster at Bevel. Medium golden, clear, small foamy head. Aroma and taste bring some heavy malt character and a healthy dose of bittering hops. Old school throwback.

Taster at the taproom. Golden pour, small white foamy head. Mildly hoppy aroma and taste, light toffee malts. Full mouthfeel

Taster at Bevel. Golden pour with small white fluffy head. Aroma and taste are pillowy, malty grains, mild sweetness. Super tasty and full. Started the flight with a winner.

Taster flight at Bevel, Brewers choice. Mahogany pour, off-white soapy head. Aroma is deep, malty, sweet. Taste is raisins, pit fruit, dark malts, almost venturing into Barleywine territory. Nice ABV presence.

Draft at Bevel. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nice to a CDA on the taplist, and a good one to boot. Aroma is mild roasty malts. Taste is nice roasty bitterness with a full, creamy feel. Smooth.

On tap at Bevel, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma has low level diacetyl and some bready malt. Flavour has lots of caramel upfront — the malt covers over the diacetyl a fair bit. Still tons wrong with this. Incompetent.

On tap at Bevel, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is a total train wreck: heaps of diacetyl and disgusting herbal notes. Flavour is offensive as hell, with diacetyl galore, vomit… holy shit. This is mind-bogglingly disgusting. Undrinkable garbage.

On tap at Bevel, pours an opaque muddy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted caramel and toffee. Flavour has a weird vegetal note to it, with bready malt and toasted caramel. Lots of vegetal notes here that ruin this. What the hell? Useless.

On tap at Bevel, pours a clear copper brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of piney and resinous hops, toasted caramel and wood. Flavour is quite intensely bitter, with caramel bready malt, and wood. Intensely bitter, with just enough caramel to make this drinkable. Still rather harsh. Needs some tweaking.

On tap at Bevel, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose has some diacetyl, bitter piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is incredibly bitter, with too much butter to deal with. Fuck right off — undrinkable butter bomb. Crap.
