On tap at Montavilla, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy and piney hops upfront, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is quite mineraly, with piney hops and cereal notes. Very mineraly. Meh.

On tap at Montavilla, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grass and biscuity malt. Flavour brings out crisp grassy hops and biscuity malt. Grassy and bitter. Very good.

Gold and amber body with thin white head. Light sweet citrus aroma. Hoppy body with a bit of malt in the taste. Swift finish.

A German beer made in Portland. Grassy aroma. Clear light gold body with white head. Malt forward taste. Finish is slurpy but good slurpy.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown, tight, clingy head. Once again, not too much to the aroma, but flavor is kind of lively. Chocolate, light woody notes, barrel notes float in the background. Smooth, warm, and a latent bitter bite.

Taster at brewery. Medium amber, clear, patchy head. Aroma doesn't give much away, light maty notes. Taste brings this back with the normal Barleywine flavors, leather, wood, with a solid malt backbone. Not too bad, and not that boozy

Taster at MBW. Clear golden pour, small filmy head, streaky lacing. Light sweet aroma, taste adds some floral handsoap notes, gentle but cloying bitterness.

Taster at brewery. Clear, medium golden pour, small skin of head, solid lacing. Aroma is light, piney, floral notes. Taste hones in on the hops, typical hoppy bite, but lasting . Solid IPA
