Description
North Jetty Brewing is family owned and operated by Erik and Michelle Svendsen on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula. While they have been brewing commercially since 2012, the tap room has been open since April 2014. The taproom is a gathering place for locals and tourists alike and hosts a number of community events, trivia, and fundraisers.

Amber and hazy, with a bubbly head. Fairly bright lemon/grapefruit. Good chewy, bitter IPA, with pine, citrus and some richer biscuity malts.

Leadbetter Red Scottish Ale from North Jetty Brewing

Medium amber and hazy. Medium body, light caramel, just a touch of bitterness, light sugars, and a touch of sweeter malts in the finish. Good amber ale.

Semper Paratus Porter from North Jetty Brewing

Fairly dark brown. Balanced, chocolatey porter with a slight nutty accent. Soft body, tasty, quaffable porter. Got a growler of this one - had to have more.

Fudgey and coffeeish, sweet with a lot of roast. Sweeter on the palate...mostly a coffee beer.

Autumn Blueberry Rye from North Jetty Brewing

Hazy amber. Thin head. Odd fruitiness is hard to pin down on the nose, light bitterness and just hints of blueberry and rye.

Cloudy and pale. Fruity abundant hop aroma. Very tasty, sweetish, fruity but with a great hop character.

On tap at North Jetty, pours a dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light coffee and light roast. Flavour is smooth, with notes of coffee grounds and light roast. Smooth and coffee-like. Good stuff.

Lights Out Double IPA from North Jetty Brewing

On tap at North Jetty, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is on the sweeter side, with resinous hops and some caramel. Flavour is on the sweeter side, with syrupy caramel malt, with resinous hops out back. Sweeter than it should be but it's not bad.
