Cerveceria La Tropical
Microbrewery
in Miami,
Florida,
United States 🇺🇸
Associated Venue: Cerveceria La Tropical
In 1998, I acquired La Tropical. And in 2021 after 23 years working as an executive in the food and beverage industry with companies such as Anheuser-Busch, AmBev and Burger King, I decided to open Cerveceria La Tropical in Miami, Florida, on the brewery’s 133rd year anniversary, as a tribute to Miami’s Latin/Caribbean heritage and its unique place as one of the world’s true exotic and fun cities.
Our beers are hand-crafted in small batches and infused with Latin & Caribbean influences; hot tropical rhythms; my love of sun and sea and lots and lots of fun! ©
Salud,
Manny Portuondo

Draught at source: pours light hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is apricot, really hefty sabro. Distinct and well exemplified hoppiness. Clean.

Draught at source: light orange with white head. Smells like old school DIPA from a second rate 90s brewpub. Taste is sort of malty and lightly bitter. Not a fan.

11/12/2025. Can from RiteWay Food Market, Road Town, British Virgin Islands. Amber pour with a decent size head. Aroma is sweet overripe fruits, pulpy, papaya, stone fruits. Toffee and slight piney notes developed. Very sweet amd fruity with minimal bitterness. Smooth, moderate carbonation. Sweet but quite drinkable.

11/12/2025. Can from RiteWay Food Market, Road Town, British Virgin Islands. Pours okay, but needed a flake really. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty, fruity. Minimal bitterness, just sweet pulpy fruits. Body was okay and not too fizzy. Wasn’t unpleasant but too sweet for me.

0.655l bottle thanks to Lore. Pitch black body with a nice brown head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, roasted malts, nutmeg, a tiny bit of bourbon, some vanilla and prunes. Thick bodied with a silky texture. Wow!
