Peltoviljelyn lisäksi tilalla tuotetaan tilaviinejä, siidereitä, limonadeja ja olutta.
Omat oluet valmistuvat Heinolan Panimolla ja kaikkia juomia pääseekin ostamaan sekä Kalkkisissa että Heinolassa. Lisäksi tilaltamme Kalkkisista löytyy kahvio/viinitupa, jossa tarjoillaan joka aamu paikan päällä leivottua suolaista ja makeaa.

Meidän juomat saavat arominsa Kalkkisten kantatilalla kasvatetuista marjoista, hedelmistä ja viljoista, joita ne tunteella siellä vaalii. Kuplii, kukkii kielen päällä ja vie sen mennessään! Meidän juomat siis.

Bottle, 5.5%. 3 months past BB date. OK fruity aroma, hint of citrus. Very muddy red/mud colour. The flavour is very citric, but not vinegary. Quite sweet as well. Not as spicy as I expected.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with no head. Mld estery fruity and light citric aroma. Solid citric flavoured. Vague malty and distinct citric. Dry citric flavour finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours murky orange with no head. Citric and malty aroma, okay - a step up compared to the appearance :$. Citric and malty flavoured. Way off. Ends citric.

Bottled (thanks to Joona K. (not on RB, yet) for bringing this). Hazy brown colour, no head. Aroma is banana, juniper, som slight yeast and mild leathery notes. Flavour is juniper, banana, some other fruits as well as sweet nectary notes. Mild spicyness as it gets a bit warmer from fridge-cold. A very good Sahti!

Bottled. Mudbrown colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is eggy, pissy and quite much earth along with sour bananaish notes. Flavour is toffee, alcohol, fruits and quite sweet. Sticky sweet aftertaste.

(Bottle, thanks to olutriippuvainen) Darkish brown. Cloudy. No head. Banana and bread in nose. Full bodied palate with little carbonation. Banana, bread, some bitterness, sweetness and yeast in taste. Sweet aftertaste.

Bottled (thanks Joona K!). Hazy dark ambery brown colour with small head. Aroma is rye, mild bananas as well as some slight sourish notes. Flavour is quite much the same with the sourness being really strong. Would probably be rather nice if not for the sourness. Comparing to sayravai’s rating, I guess my bottle had done some overfermenting or stuff. For 5.5% it got you quite tipsy on half a 0.33 liter bottle... Will try to get my hands on another bottle.
