That's a tasty front note, but none of the flavor lasts very long.

12 oz can poured, found in Las Vegas. Thanks, D! A clean copper appearance, darker classic double IPA look, plenty of foam head that lasts. Bold bready malts, some caramel, with a sturdy citrus peel bitterness. Nose leans om the bready malts. Old school IPA that is balanced with both malt and hops turned up to eleven. Really nice imperial here.

16oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours clear golden with a small off-white head, light lacing. Sweet grains, toasty, nutty, herbal, fruity. Ok.

12oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Floral, herbal, sour grains, doughy, bitter finish. Ok, but I wouldn't want another one.

Thirsty Growler, half pour, about ready to call the free shuttle. Hazy honey gold, frothy pour. Honey & subtle, soft fresh, juicy apple-orange nose. Honey sweet upfront, softly astringent bitterness, a touch of lime, tea tannins, dry burnt toast finish. Really great, even despite my hazy bias.
