Very dark brown color with dark tan head, medium bodied. Roasted malt aroma. Strongly bitter flavor dominated by burnt grain. Finish is like the taste, heavy on the charcoal.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark Brown pour, small, thin brown head. Aroma is lightly roasted malts with some sweetness. Taste is Smooth chocolate, more light roasty grains, and milk sweetness. Rich, slick, luscious.

Been a while since I had a classic barleywine non barrel aged, super toffee, crunchy hops, hella flavor forward with a lingering bitter finish that isn't so common anymore.

Dark brown with a small foamy beige head that left decent lacing. Sweet and malty with strong bourbon and dark fruit. Long finish. Full bodied.

Waxed, capped bomber from Tavour - the 2018 vintage. Pours hazy dark amber/brown with a nice creamy beige hed. Aroma is floral/fruit over malt that's sort of light toffee. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is very East Kent Goldings - with some brown sugar. Not dry, tho far from sticky. Moderately bittter. Extremely delicious.

2009 bottle. Dark amber with white head. Quite a bit of raisin, tobacco, butterscotch going on. Slightly oxidized but very good given the age!

16 oz. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, dark bread. Pours very dark brown to black with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is moderately sweet with a lightly to moderately bitter, roasty edge. Nice velvety mouthfeel. Fantastic milk stout.
