Pours dark redpurple. Scent is intense, very rich on berries , delivering the idea of fruity acidity as well as sweetness - but the oak is hidden, and so is the vanilla. Taste is pretty high on acidity indeed, richt fruityness - redcurrents indeed. Vanilla is lost, barrel is as good as lost too - which is a shame. But the fruityness works well, and so does the balance between the fruits themselves as well as the base honey. Not world class just yet, but certainly enjoyable !

Pours dark purple. Scent is relatively mild, closed, some blueberry. Mild vanilla aroma. Taste is full, intense sweetness, medium high acidity to pair with it. Very low amounts of maple syrup, some vanilla. Honey is very aromatic ( 'funky') and rather loud, personally I don't love the way it interacts with the additions - its not troublesome, but less preferred, bit clinical. Medium body only.

Pours darker copper with a reddish glow. Scent is strawberry candy , very loud and prominent, overruling the honey part completely. Taste is full, sweet, very sweet. intense strawberry candy / purree / jam. very mild to even hidden on the honey. Drinkable strawberry jam, basically. Not bad at all, but sure as anything its very simplistic.

Pours clear, lighter strawyellow/gold. Scent is heavy, pureed overripe banana. Rotten vegetal matter comes to mind... not very inviting. Whif of honey-heavyness in the back. Taste is sweet, very honey focussed, the banana showing up right after. Still overripe, but less of the rotten vegetal matter side than the aroma. Still, not a fan at all - much like banana stouts, the banana flavor is that of overripe bananas, which I really dislike... I keep hoping someone goes for underripe to ripe banana instead.

Clear purple red colour. Aroma of strong dark fruits, red berries, honey. Taste of intense sweet and strong red fruits, berries, honey, warming finish.
