About
Maltese Brewing Company was founded and started by Bobby Cook and Joseph Smith. Two firefighters with a passion for craft beer, which brought them together. When the two heroes were not saving homeless babies from their burning mansions, they loved getting together to create delicious home brew. A past time that the two could share while their little ones were running a muck in the house. Many home brews and band-aids later (don't worry they're professionals) the two decided that they could make better use of their time by finding part time jobs. After many more brewing sessions to discuss this further, they decided to sell their beer! Thus the creation of the world's most awesome nano-brewery began...

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company 2, in Tappahannock. Poured a mostly hazy deep orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was decent citrus. I got some hard fruit candy, not quite peachy, but a nice sweet fruit. Super smooth, very easy to drink. Favorite beer of the visit.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company 2, in Tappahannock. Poured a clear yellow color, small wispy head. Aroma was light lemon, some mild hop, and sweet malt. Flavor was mostly sweet malt, very easy to drink, clean finish.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company 2, in Tappahannock. Poured a very slightly hazy orange color, pretty vibrant orange. Small white head. Aroma was big guava, oranges. Not overly tart, not overly sour, sweet, but not overly sweet. Actually quite pleasant. Menu said it was a Shandy, but definitely don't think so.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company 2, in Tappahannock. Poured a dark cola color, brown, with a small, wispy off-white head. Aroma was big fig, cola, sweet malts. Flavor was smooth, and a touch sweet. Big, but really nice. Tasty quad. Figgy, dried fruit.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company 2, in Tappahannock. Poured a dark cola brown color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was roasted malts. Incredibly creamy, chocolate roast. Sweet, milk chocolate with very light bitter baker's chocolate on the finish.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company. Poured a black color, not motor oil black, but very dark hued. Nice mineral character, tasty really enjoyable stout. Light chocolate and mineral creaminess. Tasty.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company. Poured a very pale yellowish color, with a kind of light peach hue to it. Definitely a lot of apple pie. More so than an apple. Nice tasty cinnamon and apple. Tasty stuff.

Draft pour at Maltese Brewing Company. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was vanilla brown. Really nice brown ale with a little bit of vanilla flavor, creamy tasty vanilla.
