Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

50cl Bottle @ home. A soft sweetish pilsener, a bit citrussy with a slightly bitter finish. Dry mouthfeel, refreshing. Way better than expected.

This is brewed about 15 minutes from my house so is available at all of the local restaurants. I like it better of draft, the bottles all have a skunky flavor and I know I’m getting it fresh since the brewery is so close. Has a very bitter aftertaste which I like.

The only flavored Bitburger that is ok. Most of the restaurants around here make it with draft Bitbuger mixed with fountain Sprit/7up. Tasted like a Bitbuger with lemon soda that masks the bitter aftertasted of the Pils.

A berry Bitbuger. Does not even taste like beer, more of a wine-cooler. Popular in our area of Germany with women and the youth. I would only drink this to rate it.

Very ugly and nasty fruit/soda beer. Popular with the German youth, does not taste like beer at all.

Bottle. Thanks to the pizzaman, apparently this was part of my pizza menu. Sweet, perfumy raspberry aroma. Clear dark red colour, quite nice. The flavour is mildly fruity, some red berry, distinctly soapy.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is medium sweet cornish and with bitterhops coming through. Flavour is bitterhops, grassy and mild cornish too. Extremely clean - towards a bit boring. Dry and bitter finish.
