Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

This was a decent German beer. Lightly hopped aroma. Golden color with a medium thick, lively head. Light, almost wheaty flavor made this a nice summer beer but it wouldn't really float my boat as a beer to keep stocked in the fridge. Good introduction to import beers.

Golden colour. Firm head. Dough and citrusy grassy hops on the nose. Flavour is crisp bread, sour malt and crisp, herbal hops.

Light golden colour; rich herbal-hoppy nose; very dry; very bitter with a long, herbal finish. Light-bodied but full of flavour. Great German pilsner, and such a mistunderstood beer.

A very good pils. A bit too pale in color, but otherwise a nice distinct if clean flavor with enough malt and a hoppy finish. On the lighter side of some of the better pilsners, though,
