Description
Going back twenty years, he brothers Stephane and Ludovic Hardouin, both lovers of Belgian beers, live in the Paris region. For 6 years, they traded beers, and developed an address book with restaurateurs, wine merchants and winegrowers. In 2002 they decided to strengthen their activity. No more reselling and making their own beer at home. They got started by setting up their brewery in Céré la Ronde in 2003, near their family.

Today it is a growing business of 4 people. Each year production is increasing (+ 10% / year on average) and the maximum production capacity has not yet been reached.

The beers created by the brewery are 100% pure malt (barley and malted wheat). They are unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle. Among the brewery's projects, growing their own hops. Since 2019, it has been home to the first hop plants. The idea is to supplement the hop purchases and why not, to make a beer from this house culture.

0.75l bottle @ Colonialen. A light cloudy, golden orange one with a massive everlasting kinda fluffy white top. Smells nice. Kinda floral, sweet with Belgian yeast and grassy reeds. Nice. A really comfortable refreshing acidity in this! Did not expect that at all. Citrus infused with acidic both lime and lemon zest. Really soft on the carbonation and light oily on the mouthfeel. Quite tasty. Paired really well with my food! 10.07.2013

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Pours a huge white head quickly diminishing over an unclear yellow-gold body. Half-dry fruity smell added by hints of caramel malts. Lemony fruity taste joined by wheat and mid-sweet malts. Moderate tart fruity ending. Foamy in the mouth. So and so. (shared at a rating session in Tromsø 09.04.2014).

Duft av hvete og banan. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynn hinne med skum, mye karbonering. Sprudlende øl med en litt sur/syrlig ettersmak som forsvinner raskt.

0.33l bottle. It's a gusher! Or, well it most definitely want ts out of the bottle this. Glad i had my kitchen sink quickly available. It has the looks of a cloudy golden yellow thing and the big white foam that came gushing out of the bottle quickly settles in to a islandy and sidesticking head. The nose has a little bit of honey mixed with something savory. Hard to describe exactly what it is, but it's definitely savory. Some faint Belgian tones and a little floral hint. Not to extraordinary. Blend flavors. I get flour and wheat. Soft to average on the carbonation and light oily gliding in the mouth. It's a bit on the sweet side I would say, but not directly sweet either. A bit earthy in the finish, and not something I will hunt down again. 17.08.2013
