Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a neat, beige head. Sweet, caramellish nose with weak notes of dusty hops. Light body, soft mouthfeel, caramel and biscuits, yet dry and almost clean (well, the cleanest from this brewer yet). Slightly hoppy finish. A fairly straight Amber Ale. 090621

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep amber wit a tiny, off,white head. Spicy, estery nose suggesting Belgian yeast at work. Medium body, nothing much going on here apart from a slight , malt sweetness and then that typical rustic and slightly moldy background note that is so typical for their beers. Here t's kinda downplayed though. The beer is just totally lacking in complexity, the complexity a Dubbel should have. It's just some flat out sweet and very generic Ale No16. Drinkable indeed, but a Dubbel? No. 240521
