A new micro brewery located in central Brixton.

I’m Alex and I am Dogs Grandad Brewery. I have been brewing for just over 3 years now – on my home set up, volunteering at breweries over London and doing a few courses to fine tune. Dogs Grandad was born when I decided to turn my passion into a profession – and I cant wait to get started.

At Dogs Grandad Brewery I am going to be making hop forward beers that are easy to drink using my favourite hops and a neutral yeast. The beers will be hazy but the ABV wont be over the top. All beers are Vegan friendly and I only use quality, natural ingredients in every beer that I brew.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 10/04/21. Hazed orange with a moderate off white head. Nose is orange peel, melon, sweet malts, grass. Taste comprises tangerine, sweet malts, melon, biscuit notes, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Passable number.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, biscuity malts, grassy hop, little bark, orange ridn, sweaty hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy grains, dirty grassy hop, firm bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, moderate carbonation. ok.
