Description

Hazy dark blond colour with thin head. Aroma is fruity, herbal. Tastes fresh and clean. Really floral too. Good IPA

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Mild fruity aroma, pale malt, tangerine, apricot, grassy hops, bit yeast. Fresh taste, medium sweet and below medium bitter, malty, orange, light resinous notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry dweetbitter aftertaste, clean blond but not that much depth, okay.

Dark golden colour with solid, lasting disc of foam. Aroma has subtle fruity esters of yellow stone fruits. Nice mouthfeel with fine carbonation and a slightly thicker, richer texture than many old style Tripels. Probably from the addition of rye. The fruity notes continue into the taste. There's enough hop bitterness to ensure this stays on the correct side of the bitter versus sweet scale. Very good.

Blond colour with thin lacy head. There's a subtle fruit note in the aroma but it's much stronger in the taste. Indeed sweet and tangy strawberry. Gentle malt background. Clean finish. Neither particularly bitter or sweet. Easy to drink.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermeisje', best before December 2022. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, quite fruity-grassy aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, pineapple and some grass. Hardly sweet, gently bitter, rather fruity-grassy taste of lemon peel, grapefruit, pineapple and a touch of grass, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy, rather dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very refreshing, well-brewed hoppy Wheat Ale, could already be a India Wheat Ale by RB standards.
