Pours mostly clear copper with a small off white head. It smells of citrus and piney hops. The flavor has moderate to strong hops bitterness with ample citrus and piney character and a big caramel malt backbone. Very good.

Can, Kroger Harrisonburg. Orange with a hint of haze and an off-white head. Nose is almost all artificial, candy-like. Not altogether unpleasant, but... Artificial flavors, but not sweet. It's got a bit of a chemical taste, along with a bit of orange peel. Who is this supposed to appeal to? It's not sweet, so it's not going to appeal to the fruity -drink non-beer drinkers; it's not good, so its not going to appeal to the craft beer drinkers. Who wants to drink something that tastes (supposed to taste) like melon anyway?

Kroger, Harrisonburg can. Mostly clear deep gold to orange with a small off-white head. Nose is banana and strawberry, all quite artificial, though not unappealing. Flavor is banana, strawberry, orange peel. Artificial flavor all around, except maybe they threw in some banana peels... this is just odd.

Purple 2$ can from Giant in Lanctaster PA. Smells like sweet perfume hops. First taste is terribly on style IPA; you know, super bitter hops IPA bastardized beer. Pour is big white head on a pale hazy beer, of course, perfect for its name. It even has an almost milque-shake attitude on the eye. Just a little co2 on the palate to cover up and distract from some of its extreme rudeness. Quite difficult to enjoy, one sided like most IPA. Nasty nellie negativity-o-gram. Yea, its fricken happy BS like any other IPA. So many out there and they all practically taste the same, but at least some smell like BO and some others smell like diesel, heheeh.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017 - London. Pours clear orange with a foamy, white topping. Big and sweet, lots of jammy citrus, pine, alcohol. Full bodied and oily, with fine carbonation. Warming, sweet and lightly resinous finish, more jammy citrus fruits. Not bad.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 - Cocoa and caramel sweet malty, just a light roast, medium plus body, big chocolate malty into the finish.

Hazy gold pour. It smells of pineapple and some hop resin but mostly pineapple. The flavor is full of pineapple with acidic sweetness that transitions into moderate hops bitterness. Something about the latter isn’t as crisp or flavorful as I’d like. This is still pretty good but I much prefer the original tropicannon.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Black with a tan cap that veers edgewards. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, spice, toffee, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises earthy fruits, coffee bean, chocolate, spice, mellow roast, toffee. Full bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Decent high boost cask impy stout.
