Bottle. A- Burnt wood, mild cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Char, roasty, mild bitterness, cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- Don't get any bourbon influence. Pretty traditional. Not bad but maybe a bit overrated.

Looks black in the glass, and a fine solid beige head. Good lacing Nice curtains down the sides of the glass Grapefruit hoppy and dark malt in the aroma. Good intensity Mellow fine carbonation level. Can from the LCBO. Lightly hazed dark gold under a large foamy off white cap. Nose is bright medicinal citrus reminiscent of the effervescent Vitamin C tablets of my youth. Tastes the same. Mouth is medium and creamy with prickly carbonation (though that may be imagined based on the flavour). Nope. 5-/4/4-/3/10
