12 ounce bottle. Opaque black color. Small creamy beige head. Roasted malt aroma hints at coffee and bourbon. Flavor mirrors aroma. Roasted malt, bourbon and dark coffee. Sticky mouthfeel. A hint of chocolate in the boozy finish.

Flaska från SB. Klar gyllengul vätska med medelhögt krämigt vitt skum. Rejäl kropp. Fruktig med citrus men på ett torrt och zestigt vis snarare än juicig. Snygga kexiga maltsmaker som drar åt karamell. Lite mineraler, gräs, kryddor. Men det är malt och kropp som är bäst och bär och håller ihop smakerna. Typisk östkust-IPA och riktigt välbalanserad och välbryggd. Gott

Bottle. A- Light, roasty, cocoa. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Slightly bitter, roasty, mild char, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This was pretty muted on the nose and the palate was pretty basic too. Just not quite the rich profile I wanted. Needed more barrel influence for sure.

Can from Systembolaget. The aroma is extremely filled with liquorice. Now, I hate liquorice, but I find the strength of that smell quite interesting. Taste is rather mellow but quite pleasing, soft liquoricey malts. Medium bitterness. Overall, a nice dark IPA.
