Since the inception of Aslin Beer Company, Andrew, Kai, & Richard wanted to create a company that they all would want to work for. They have strived to create a culture that celebrates beer with a passion and depth of knowledge that can’t help but be contagious to our customers. We realize that our beer is not the only product we provide, but a long lasting relationship between our company, employees, and customers. Aslin Beer Company doesn’t take itself too seriously. Any why should we? Beer is fun. It’s for kicking back: vacations, parties, hangouts. Along with the fun and humorous atmosphere, our founders’ have a passion and dedication to create a good product and have a commitment to provide the best beer to all passionate beer drinkers alike. Our company will craft only the highest quality ales, lagers and variants that will help redefine American beer culture, re-educate the consumer palate and revive people’s passion, while using the highest quality ingredients from around the world as well as sourced locally.
What's Your Name Mean? "Want to play a game?" Used to be our response, but because of our growth and your support we're adding this link to ease your curiosity. No, it's not an acronym. Yes, it is a name! But it's not a combination of ours. In fact, Andrew and Kai are brother-in-laws. Each married to 2 of 3 sisters. Richard's brother is married to the third. And Voila! There it is! We are all family by marriage and bond. Oh, and the name.... is the girl's maiden name! Brownie points

Appearance: golden yellow to copper color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace Aroma: some papaya, mango, light mint and tangerine hop notes; light clean malts Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy bittersweet quality; finishes papaya to mango-like Texture: medium bodied, between being sessionable and being a sipper as there's some smoothness but also somd hop assertiveness Overall: when it's not a milkshake IPA, sometimes Aslin can brew some good ones and I don't know if that minty scent was intentional or not. I'd come back to this.

Appearance: brassy orange/copper color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace Aroma: mango, pineapple, coconut and vanilla; clean malts Flavor: juicy sweet through the prior noted aromas and with a big vanilla/lactose and sweet creamy aspect combining here; finishes very mango forward and creamy Texture: medium bodied, I guess sessionable (there's nothing really distracting) and very smooth and creamy along the tongue Overall: I like NEIPA's but these milkshake IPA's, eh, oh I dunno. Just telling myself - "go onto the next beer, Adam."

Appearance: thick orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace Aroma: grapefruit, peaches and papaya hop notes, light clean malts Flavor: blends the previously noted aromas to a fine juicy sweet to bitter quality; finishes grapefruity and peachy Texture: about medium bodied - maybe a touch under, some sessionability about it; juicy smooth along the tongue; low hop bitterness Overall: nicely done NEIPA worthy of coming back to.

Appearance: pale orange haziness with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace Aroma: oranges, pine, lemon pith, sweet onions and subtle pineapple-y hop tones with some doughy/bready malts Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a good bittersweet semi-juicy character; finishes orangey/lemony/piney Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch over; mostly sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue Overall: nice enough NEDIPA pretty worthy of returning to.
Smells like a kick in the ass. Cranberry, ginger maybe, cinnamon, clove, marzipan. Pours dark brown with ok head. Supercloying tangy finish with spices that mess with your tongue for a while. Tap at Herndon Aslin.
Less smoke than many smoked porters. It's there, but caramel kind of buries it. Pours black with decent mocha head. Light tang cloying finish but mostly clean. Tap a Herndon location.
Cinnamon in the nose, some sweet tobacco, dried date, raisin. Pours dark brown with decent head. Sweet finish. Some oak in there. Tap at Herndon Aslin.
Caramel and dried dates, maybe raisin. Finish has a hint of leather. Pours clear maroon with decent head. Not overly sweet like some doppelbocks. A hint of orange. Tap at Herndon Location.
Cinnamon is big here. Some roast, a little vanilla. Not as much bourbon. Pours black and oily. Cloying tangy finish that sticks with you for a while. Tap at Aslin in Herndon.
