Pours a coppery color, clear, topped with about a finger of tan colored frothy head. Malty aroma, some fruity and caramel notes as well, slight soury smell too. The taste is quite bittery, slightly metallic and herbal. Nice and easily drinkable.

Tap at Gozo cafe. Aroma malty, light soapy? sulfury? off flavour. Clear deep amber to brown colour, stable head. Taste is indeed herby, the off aroma not present. However overall poor balance. Sweetish and awkward.

Bottled (backlog, thanks Kim N). Deep golden colour with a small white head, that lasts for a good while. Aroma is bready and caramel malts along with some mild toffeeish notes. Also mild wooden and grassy notes to go along with it. Flavour is quite similar, with also a slight tone of alcohol sweetness to it. More like a richer hopped bock than an oktofest/märzen.
