0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a dark brown-red colour with a medium sized beige head that went away slowly. Grainy nose, notes of caramel and raisins. The taste isn’t far off, being grainy, caramelly and sweetish... dark malts. Not all that hoppy...almost at all. Says it’s brewed with some herbs but there’s nothing that would reveal their presence except (in my mind) maybe for a vague, just kinda herbal chalkiness. It’s still a good dunkel or vienna, not too sweet.

(Draught at Ferdinanda, Prague, 23 July 2008) Golden yellow colour with brief, frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of toffee. Malty, grassy taste with toffee, decent malt sweetness and a short, grassy finish. Clean and fresh, moderate bitterness. Ok and drinkable, but hardly exciting.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malty, vegetably, hayish and quite papery. Flavour is maize, paper, vegetables and some mild rubbery notes. Don’t let this one warm up even a bit after you take it from the cooler... --- Beer merged from original tick of Nealkoholické Pivo on 06 Jul 2008 at 23:17 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 2 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 2. Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized creamy off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, mild raisins and nuts along with some pine. Flavour is roasted malts along with mild licorice and chocolate and toffee. Leaves burnt and toffeeishness in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some hops and metal. Flavour is much the same in a quite stingy way. Some slight hayish and grainy notes too.
