Good, dense, ever so lightly yellowish head over lively carbonated hazy orange beer. Spicy, bit dusty. I seem to get some coriander. Dry rootspices, not-quite-citrussy. Very bitter, overdose of EU hops, giving a rather raw, indifferent bitterness, vegetables. Certainly medium bodied, very well carbonated, quite slick to chewy. Hopchoice seems a tad unlucky. I gradually liked it a bit better. Txs to B&T for the gift!

No head, muddy yellow-orange beer, not very lively. Neutral, herbal, greenery, bit of caramel, cakebottom in the background. Sweetish, with a faint metallic-sourish (as galvanic) overtone. Again bit vegetal, and neutral. Slick, undercarbonated; finish has a spicy streak - nutmeg? "Zware beproeving"? Not really, rather "saaie bedoening". Txs to B&T for the gift!

Rust-cream, small head, fast gone over deep purplish brown beer. Coffee (sweetened), Haagse Hopjes , light roast, bit liquorice. Lightly spiced coffee, Koffiebonen (chocolate-coffee sweets). Well bodied, some alcoholwarming, slick. Not the spices, but the coffee is in charge - and all the better for it. This is a good winterwarmer, not a spicejumble. Txs to B&T for the gift!

Blik thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van hop en citrus. De smaak is vol, hoppig, bitter en harsig.

Can at home, Darker orange amber beer, small head. Aroma is bitter, hops, citrus, resin. Taste is the same, bitter, resin, citrus, hops, light malty caramel. very nice.
