Bottle shared at tasting. Brown color, full sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, leaves, lightly a sharp hint in the background, soft distant sweet notes as well. A bit dusty and boring tbh. Hmm and as a quadrupel not that good.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark sulphureous head. Yeasty fruity and dark malty aroma, notes of dark fruit, dark berries, dried fruit, raisin, plum, morello, a touch of liquorice and chocolate, peppery spicy, yeasty overtones, some clove. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, mildly bitter and minimally leafy, hoppy counterpart, hints of dark fruit, dark berries, dried fruit, blueberry, a touch of liquorice, minimally ashy undertones; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, foamy, prickly carbonation. Rich and manifold, sadly a bit watery and slightly heterogeneous - not bad.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before July 2023. Minimally hazy, golden with a massive, foamy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, intensely fruity-floral, moderately grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, grains, some fresh grass and a touch of honey. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently dry, rather fruity-floral, moderately grassy taste of lemon peel, pineapple, fresh grass, honey and a touch of grains, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly dry, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Classic Belgian Ale, nicely hoppy, very tasty.

Milky golden with a very big white head. Fruity yeasty hoppy citrus aroma. Bitter taste with a bitter finish. Very Belgian, like a Duvel light, and very enjoyable.
