Description
For over 40 years, the Hilton family have been at the heart of Alberta’s Barley farming, passing down a legacy of quality and care through five generations. As pioneers in sustainable agriculture, their family farm produces what is widely regarded as some of the best malt barley in the world. At Origin Malting & Brewing Co., we offer full traceability from field to pint, ensuring every grain of barley can be traced back to the very soil it was grown in. Alberta’s reputation for superior malt barley is unmatched, and our cutting-edge malt house guarantees consistency in every batch. This allows our brewers to craft award-winning beers, using only the finest ingredients, grown on our farm and malted in-house. Origin Malting & Brewing Co. is the embodiment of the Hilton family’s commitment to sustainability, community, and excellence. Our “farm to glass” philosophy ensures every sip of beer tells the story of generations past and future, rooted deeply in our land and our craft. At Origin, we don’t just grow barley, we grow beer!
