Description
Bramble Cider is husband and wife duo Tyler Crowdis and Alicia Enns. Tyler began making cider as a means to continue enjoying pints despite his celiac disease. From the kitchen of their tiny century home, Tyler's crafts were gaining many fans through friends and family. Wanting to bring their innovative ciders to the masses, Tyler and Alicia are embarking on a journey to bring craft cider to Calgary and beyond. Inspiration comes from the growing west coast cider scene to the funky ciders of Northern France and sours of Spain.

473ml can. Pours a hazy purple-red with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of grape skins, apple and funky yeast. Semi-sweet flavour of grape skins, red wine and tart apple in a crisp, dry, acidic finish. Medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing with a bit of complexity.

473ml can. Pours a hazy pale straw colour with a thin, fizzy, short lived white head that fully dissipates within seconds. Aroma of funky yeast and tart apple skins. Semi-sweet flavour of yellow apple and faint peach in a crisp, dry, tart lacto finish. Light body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Good effort, but the peach is too subtle.
