Bottled@fonefan. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, some roasted, liquorice, alcohol and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is ashes, liquorice, some toffee and quite a big ashy finish.

50 cl bottle @ pre-Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg
Gusher. Aroma has sweet whisky tones, licorice and ash. Flavour has sweet whisky tones, licorice, peat and some warming alcohol. A bit foamy palate, but despite that I seem to enjoy this.

Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is a peppery spice with som vinegar. Flavor is dark earthy malts with a bit of sour dark fruit. Finish is dry with a musty barnyard. Solid beer here.

Bottled@HBF2015. Deep brownish copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, liquorice, some floral and wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, some toffeeish and wooden notes.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Bov. Strong spicy and peppery aroma - green and black pepper, lemongrass/lemon rindt, but also flowery or fruity perfume. Some meaty yeast. Possible, some bretty funk.The taste is spicy and peppery, with sweet and flowery notes, as well as some lemon. Quite a bitter finish. Soft and light body. Excellent, except for that meaty yeast.

Orange color with white head. Belgian IPA aroma, nice fruity hopping, a bit spicy. Strawberries, hoppy, warming finish, not too bitter. Smooth carbonation. Nice!

Pretty much as before. Nicely aroma-hopped Red Ale, just a bit of malts, taste is with hints of coffee.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Bov. Clear amber with a frothy head. The aroma is pure hops - dominated by acid-grassy notes, like gooseberry or kiwi, but there’s some sweet fruit too (mango?, as well as a touch of dank and resins. The taste is similar with some fresh acid fruit (emphasis on fruit, this is by no means a sour beer!), a nice dry bitter hoppy finish. The malts are almost invisible. Good.
