Black color, with generous compact brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, a bit ashy, and some cardboard. The mouthfeel is very smooth, it has a good body strength too; strong flavor of roasted malt, with a nice creamy touch, lactose, very light liquorice, light malt sourness; strong bitterness, also because of the black malts, but it seems that there is some good hop behind; the final is a bit too ashy for me.
Halfway between a Porter and a Stout (not chocolatey enough), but with bold character, and dynamic.

Pitch black color with generous brown compact head. Aroma of roasted malts, firewood, smoke. Full bodied, with a lovely smooth mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor, some dark chocolate, some smoke; layered feelings; quite strong bitterness; it never becomes too ashy, and it’s well balanced.

Highly carbonated; it has some caramel flavor, medium to strong bitterness, some residual sweetness that well blends with the light biscuity or toffee trace; there are some hop resins and subdued hop fruitiness, and a vegetable touch; not much of the promised cedar wood either; there is some yeast astringency in the final.

33 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan to brown head. Aroma is mild vegetables and roasted malty. Chili and chocolate. Bitter, dark malty and roasted. Bitter and chocolate. Vague chili bite into the finish. Vague citric note, bitter and dry dark roasted malty into the finish. Ends bitter and dark malty. Lingering mild smoke like.
