On tap at Brookswood, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassiness, light straw and bready malt. Flavour is less hopped than the craft lager I just had — I confirmed I got the right ones — with sweet corn malt and only light hops. Under-hopped without that spicy Saaz character this style should have. It's fine, just not really what I want from the style.

On tap at Brookswood, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out gentle grassy hops, straw and some light tanginess. Flavour is gently tangy, with light grassiness, straw and biscuity malt. Clean and drinkable, but pretty ordinary.

This shows promise, however it had moderate amounts of diacetyl in nose and palate. Clean that up and lets talk again .

Modest gold body and minimal foam. Aroma is okay hops, some modest sweetness. Taste is okay fruity hops and slight pine, lingering medium sweetness. Pretty average.
