Sampled at the Manitou Wine Festival. Dark ruby color. Bittersweet chocolate and distinct, fresh raspberries. Very sweet and candy-like. Pretty heavy palate. Quite a delicious mead, almost like a port or liqueur.

Sample at Wines of Colorado. Dark purple color. Strong blackberry notes, with some lemon zest, cloves, and white bread. Very sweet, with no sour or bitter flavors. Medium body, sugary, syrupy, and a little acidic. A pretty nice, fruity mead.

Bottle, pours a clear dark red with a small pink head. Aroma brings loads of sweet blackberries and artificial honey. Flavour is sickly sweet, with artificial tasting berries and lots of sickly sweet honey. Low complexity and way too sweet. No good.

Bottle on the RBSG bus. Pours a clear ruby with no head. The aroma is honey, berries, booze. Thin mouth, strong honey, berries, boozy finish, really good.

Bottle thanks to Alex. Pours a clear ruby orange with no head. The ara is raspberry and honey. Medium mouth, fruity wine, strong raspberry, very light chocolate flavor coming out as it warms, light booze, really nice.
